We are Open Raven, a cloud and data security startup with a product DNA that was founded in 2019 by two security industry veterans that have previously been acquired and taken companies public. We are backed by Kleiner Perkins, staffed by seasoned product managers and engineers and we’re seeking like-minded people to join our growing team.
We are looking for a Director of Product Management who will manage and grow a team of product managers. The role reports to the co-founder and Chief Product Officer and will interact with the CEO, both experienced product leaders. This role is an opportunity to work with experienced founders in a compelling space and both understand and learn about fast-growth security startups.
We especially love candidates who are passionate about commercial open source products and working with the open source and security communities.
The Role
Reporting to the CPO, you manage and grow a team of product managers. You will define and own the product management program including the product execution roadmap, competitive and industry analysis, customer feedback, product analysis and product specifications. You will work closely with engineering to ensure product features are implemented as intended and with the engineering and operation team on the inevitable day-to-day such as bugs and operational issues. You will partner with sales to listen and understand customer needs and represent the company with customer meetings and at industry events.
You will work especially closely with the CPO and Chief Architect to align product implementation to the company's strategic vision. We hold a very high regard for user experience and have an in-house creative director and several design agencies that help us design compelling user experiences.
We are an equal opportunities employer committed to diversity.
